Welcome! We are pleased to provide F-1 and J-1 visa and non-immigrant status services to international students and exchange visitors.  We also provide cross-cultural engagement opportunities and campus life support services.

Important Immigration Changes: Possible Penalties - Please Read

Important changes that may affect your ability to continue your studies in the United States are coming on August 9th, 2018. You may be subject to serious immigration penalties depending on your status and possible status violations. These penalties may include removal (deportation) from the United States, 3 or 10 year bars from re-entering the United States, or loss of your immigration benefits including but not limited to on-campus employment and OPT.

Due to the federal government's tighter restrictions and penalties on ensuring applications and requests for approvals and authorizations aare submitted accurately and on time.

Don't Miss These Deadlines:

OPT Workshop on November 19th

November 30th - Last Day to submit OPT application For students completing their studies is Dec. 23, 2018.

General Information

"New", "Transfer" and "Current" international students, who are planning to earn a degree or pursue English as a Second Language program at Lehman College, are required to obtain the F-1 student visa and status.  The following 5 steps will guide you through the Form I-20 and F-1 Visa application process.
