Tuition Payment Options
You can pay your Tuition and Fee bill in person using cash, check or money order at the Bursar Office, located in Shuster Hall, Basement level, Room 031.

To pay your tuition by mail, review your account balance and please pay by check or money order made payable to Lehman College to:

In the memo section, please be sure to include your full name, your CUNYfirst EMPLID, and the semester for which your payment is for.
To avoid cancellation of your registration, please allow 10 business days for the receipt and processing of your mailed payment.
Bursar Drop Box
A payment by check or money order can be dropped off in the Bursar drop box located directly outside the Bursar Office located in Shuster Hall, Basement level, Room 031.
Online Electronic Check Transfer Payment
An Electronic Funds Transfer/eCheck payment can only be processed through your CUNYfirst account, payment must be made in full by the due date. To make a payment online you will you will need you Tuition and Fee balance due amount (available on CUNYfirst), your bank account and routing numbers.
Please enter your bank account and routing numbers carefully, a $20.00 fee will be assessed to your account for a returned EFT payment.
The system does not accept Debit or Credit Cards.
Credit and Debit cards are not accepted in the Bursar Office.
To make a payment using a credit card, you must use the Nelnet Payment Plan.

Nelnet Payment Plan
Pay online through CUNYfirst by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). Please have all the necessary information ready when making an online payment including your bank account and routing numbers for EFT payments.
How to Enroll
- Log into your CUNYfirst account, and select “HR Campus Solutions”
- Click on “Self-Service”, and select “Student Center”
- Go to “Finances” and select “Enroll / Manage Payment Plan”

|The following is an important message regarding the use of a credit or debit card
for online payments effective March 13, 2016.
This is to advise you that CUNY will be making revisions to the procedures for utilizing a Credit or Debit card for tuition and fee payments.
Effective March 13, 2016, all Credit and Debit Card transactions will only be processed via the University’s Payment Plan. The Payment Plan provides students and their families the option of paying their tuition and fees over a period of up to six months. This flexibility enables everyone to reduce the burden of paying all tuition and fees prior to the start of the academic term. This deferred payment plan continues to be an interest free benefit for students and their families.
Effective with the Summer 2016 semester, the Enrollment Fee for the Payment Plan will be $95 per term. For students and their families who opt for direct withdrawals from their bank accounts, a discount will be provided which will lower the Enrollment Fee to $40 per term.
The eCheck payment option through CUNYfirst Self-Service remains an alternative payment option that is cost effective since it does not require an Enrollment Fee.
We trust that these changes will cause minimum disruption, and allow our students to continue to have a variety of payment options.

Third Party Payment
If you are expecting your tuition to be funded by an outside third party, such as a scholarship or fellowship from an organization outside of City College, by your employer, or by a private loan, you must notify the Bursar and provide documentation before your bill due date to avoid class cancellation.
Note: Financial aid will appear on students’ bills automatically when the aid has been approved.
